Donetsk, Jul 2 – DAN. A civilian in the Alexandrovka neighbourhood in western Donetsk was seriously wounded in mortar fire delivered by Kiev forces, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported.

“At 04:55, Ukrainian armed formations opened fire towards Alexandrovka with 120mm mortars,” the report said. “A 37-year-old civilian suffered multiple shrapnel wounds to the limbs and neck.”

The victim was rushed to Donetsk Hospital No 14 in serious condition.

Earlier reports said that Kiev forces had shelled southern DPR and Donetsk’s western outskirts at night and on Tuesday morning using 152mm and 122mm artillery.*jk
