★ DPR plans large increase in pensions, public sector and civil service wages – Pushilin



Donetsk, Jun 13 – DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic is planning to significantly increase pensions and wages of public sector employees and civil servants, DPR Head Denis Pushilin told the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.

“The Republic plans to increase public sector and civil service wages by 35 percent and pensions by 25 percent starting July 1, 2019,” Pushilin said.

He added that the DPR also planned to increase wages for certain groups of law-enforcers, as well as social and insurance benefits.

“The next increase in public sector and civil service wages is due in January 2020. Wages will increase by 35 percent; consequently the overall increase which includes the current payrise will amount to 70 percent. Beginning from 2020, pensions will increase by 27 percent with overall growth reaching 52 percent compared with the current level, the DPR leader said.*jk
