★ Kindergarten damaged as Ukrainian forces shell Gorlovka – Prikhodko

Donetsk, Sep 4 – DAN. A kindergarten was damaged in western Gorlovka in shelling by Ukrainian armed formations, town administration head Ivan Prikhodko said on Wednesday.

“As a result of the strike at the Glubokaya Colliery township (administered by Gorlovka – eds Donetsk News Agency), kindergarten N 51 sustained damage,” Prikhodko said. “ A shell fragment perforated a window and stuck in the wall.”

A team of the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination went to the scene to obtain more accurate information.

Earlier reports on Wednesday said that Ukrainian army heavy mortars had fired more than 20 rounds at the frontline Gorlovka.*jk
