★ Mine in Donetsk suffers power cuts following Ukrainian shelling



Donetsk, Feb 14 – DAN. A ventilation shaft in the Chelyuskintsev mine in Donetsk has been left without power following Ukrainian shelling, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

“Ukrainian armed formations opened fire on Staromikhailovka at 7.20 a.m. from the direction of Krasnogorovka with SPG, IFV, large caliber machine guns and small arms; 52 rounds were fired. A ventilation shaft in the Chelyuskintsev mine is without power following the shelling, its wall and switchboards are damaged.”

The Ministry of Energy said that 19 people were in the mine at the time of the shelling, no one was hurt.

As of 9.15 a.m. power supply was restored. Four houses were also damaged.*ot
