137 people use Yelenovka humanitarian corridor on Oct 19 – DPR Emergencies Ministry



Donetsk, Oct 20 – DAN. One hundred and thirty-seven people used the Novotroitskoye-Yelenovka crossing point to enter or exit the Donetsk People’s Republic on October 19, the DPR Emergencies Ministry press service reported on Tuesday.

“Twenty vehicles and 79 people entered the DPR, and 16 vehicles and 58 people went to Ukraine,” the report said.

There are four crossing point on the contact line between the DPR and Ukraine-held territory: Gorlovka-Mayorskoye, Yelenovka-Novotroitskoye, Alexandrovka-Maryinka and Oktyabr-Gnutovo. They suspended operation in March as part of the COVID-19 lockdown. Later on, a decision was made to set up a humanitarian corridor. It is arranged through the Yelenovka crossing point and opens on Monday and Friday.*jk
