172 new COVID-19 cases diagnosed in DPR over 24 hours – Health Ministry



Donetsk, Dec 3 – DAN. One hundred and seventy-two new COVID-19 cases have been diagnosed in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Thursday.

“DPR medics have carried out 486 tests since Wednesday; 156 people tested positive, and another 16 patients showed clinical and epidemiological signs of COVID-19,” the report said.

Sixty-two people have been discharged from hospitals and 16 COVID-19 patients (men aged 42 to 87 and women aged 63 to 80) have died over the past 24 hours, the Healthcare Ministry said.

According to the latest reports, the DPR confirmed 11,149 COVID-19 cases, 5,242 people have recovered, 1,050 have died and 4,855 are continuing treatment as in- or outpatients.



Ukraine has reported 14,496 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours; 772,760 people have got infected and 12,960 have died in Ukraine since the beginning of the pandemic.*jk
