18 DPR residents test positive for COVID-19 over 24 hours – Health Ministry



Donetsk, Jul 16 – DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic medics have reported 18 new COVID-19 cases following initial tests over the past 24 hours, the DPR Healthcare Ministry press service reported on Thursday.

One of the infected came from Kiev-controlled territory on July 7. Over the past 24 hours, 14 people have been discharged from DPR hospitals after negative coronavirus tests and three patients have died, the report said.

As of today, there are 1,444 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Republic; 675 people have recovered; 682 are undergoing treatment and 87 have died since the coronavirus infection outbreak, according to the Healthcare Ministry.

Ukraine has reported 848 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, an increase from the previous period. As many as 56,455 people in Ukraine have contacted COVID-19 and 1,445 have died since the beginning of the pandemic.*jk*pp
