Donetsk, Feb 11 – DAN. More than 90,000,000 residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic have applied for fast track Russian citizenship, the DPR Interior Ministry Migration Service told the Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
“As of February 10, DPR Migration Service offices had filed 90,978 Russian citizenship applications,” the Migration Service said.
As of now, 74,716 DPR residents have received Russian passports under simplified procedure.
Four passport centres for DPR residents operate in the Kuibyshevo and Pokrovskoye villages, Rodionovo-Nesvetaiskaya settlement and the Matveyev Kurgan township in Russia’s Rostov region. The DPR Migration Service has 37 offices that take Russian citizenship applications as well as two additional centres at the Donbass Post offices in Donetsk and Makeyevka.*jk
