City mayor reports sniper fire in Gorlovka crossing point area, no casualties

Donetsk, Jun 18 – DAN. Utility company personnel came under sniper fire on Thursday as they were working at the Gorlovka crossing point, city administration head Ivan Prikhodko said.

“A team of the Prostor utility company came under sniper fire during restoration works in the Gorlovka crossing point area,” Prikhodko said. “None of the workers were hurt. The shooting started three minutes after a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle flew over the area.”

No more details were immediately available.

At present, the crossing points on the contact line in Donbass do not operate because of the threat of spreading of the coronavirus infection.*jk
