DDoS attack temporarily disables Donetsk News Agency website

Donetsk, Jun 18 – DAN. The Donetsk News Agency website came under an intensive DDoS attack on Tuesday, the agency’s technical support service reported.

“The servers were overloaded with uniform requests; we have all reasons to believe it was a deliberate action to make the DAN website inaccessible to users,” it said.

As of now, specialists blocked the malicious traffic and stabilised the media outlet operation. The website was unavailable for about 15 minutes, the technical support service added.

The Donetsk News Agency website has repeatedly came under DdoS attacks since it was launched on December 3, 2014. The Donetsk News Agency is the official news agency of the Donetsk People’s Republic in accordance with the DPR Head’s degree dated December 22, 2014.*jk
