Donbass Post pays RUR 12 bln worth of pensions, benefits in 2019

Donetsk, Sep 27 – DAN. Donbass Post has paid more than 12 billion rubles ($186 mln) worth of pensions and benefits to Donetsk People’s Republic residents since the beginning of this year, the state-owned enterprise press service reported on Friday.

“Pensions and all kinds of benefits in excess of 12 billion rubles have been paid to 2,600,000 people since the beginning of 2019,” the report said.

In the third quarter, payments to 850,000 recipients totalled 4,550,000,000 rubles ($70 mln), Donbass Post said.

Donbass Post  was established in October 2014. It offers such services as mail and cargo delivery, including from Russia, payment of pensions and welfare benefits, acceptance of utility bill payments, remittances etc.*jk
