Donetsk-based Russian Center organizes 700-plus events this year

Donetsk, Jul 5 – DAN.  Donetsk-based Russian Center has organized almost 700 evenmts in the Republic this year, the center’s executive director Elena Evseyeva said.

“Within the framework of the integration program, with the support of the Russian Center “, 674 events have been organized since January 1, 2019, of those 372 took place in Russia,” she told journalists.

The events fall within the following categories, she added:  healthcare, culture, sports, education, trade unions, and public activities. The number of participants is 2,461 she said, with more than a thousand of Russians.

The Russian Center was established in 2017 to enhance the Donbass integration with Russia in humanitarian, social and cultural aspects. *ot
