DPR and LPR embark on disaster emergency response exercises

Donetsk, Nov 4 – DAN. The relevant DPR and LPR ministries are collaborating to drill joint response to emergencies caused by Ukrainian aggression, said the head of the Emergencies Ministry Aleksey Kostrubitsky.

“The units of the Emergencies Ministry, in cooperation with ministries and agencies, are carrying out preparatory measures for scheduled joint response of state authorities to crisis situations. The Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergencies and Response to Natural Disasters has established interaction with the ministries of the LPR,” said Kostrubitsky.

He added that units of the DPR Ministry of Emergency Situations train to meet performance standards related to the upcoming scheduled practice.

In particular, they reconnoiter the designated areas together with the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Health of the DPR.

According to Kostrubitsky, preparations are ongoing to unfold lodgings for population affected by presumed technological and natural disasters.

Earlier the DPR Head Denis Pushilin announced an inspection of the joint response of the Republic’s departments to crisis situations caused by an external threat from Ukraine from November 10 to November 14. *ot
