DPR calls on Ukraine to reread Minsk Agreements



Donetsk, Feb 12 – DAN. DPR representatives have been faced with Ukraine’s incomprehension of the Misnk agreements at the today’s meeting of the Contact Group on the fifth anniversary of the Package of Measures signing.

“Ukrainian side purposefully tries to omit the issue of Donbass status law enactment and insists on discussing the issues either beyond the group’s competence or premature. We had to call on Kiev once again to reread the Minsk Agreements that clearly set forward the order of articles to be implemented.”

She said that Kiev keeps ignoring its responsibilities and specifically avoid any progress on political articles.

The sides met today in Minsk to discuss new disengagement areas, search of missing persons, Donbass special status and other issues.



Five years ago, the Package of Measures to implement the Minsk Agreements was signed. Among its most important elements is ceasefire and enactment of Donbass special status. *ot
