DPR command: Kiev forces destroy SMM’s UAV

Donetsk, Oct 18 – DAN. Ukrainian army opened fire on unmanned aerial vehicles of the OSCE SMM twice over the week, said DPR People’s Militia deputy chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin.

“Outside Petrovskoye, Ukrainian fighters fired at SMM’s UAVs twice with small arms, one of the UAVs was destroyed.”

The SMM members had to cease monitoring.

Ukrainian command awarded those who downed the UAV with 36 thousand hryvnia (93 thousand rubles) as for “destruction of enemy’s equipment”.

The situation around Petrovskoye remains tense as Kiev forces continue mining activities and deployment of hardware to the disengagement zone. *ot
