DPR denies media reports alleging Ukrainian army presence in Gorlovka
Donetsk, Mar 28 – DAN. The Ukrainian media reports alleging that Ukrainian army units took a part of Gorlovka are not true, town administration head Ivan Prikhodko told the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
“The Ukrainian army entered Gorlovka? It’s nonsense; it’s Kiev military’s wishful thinking,” Prikhodko said. “The situation is calm here; the territory is controlled by DPR militiaman.’
The Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia said that it had not recorded any Ukrainian army advance towards the town.
Earlier on Friday, Ukraine’s UNIAN news agency reported that the Ukrainian army had gained a foothold within the town.*jk
