DPR dismisses Kiev’s attempt to substitute special status with decentralization

Donetsk, Dec 13 – DAN. DPR has dismissed Kiev’s attempts to substitute constitutional reform for the decentralization of the whole country which looks explicitly doubtful, said DPR Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova.
Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky said earlier on Friday that a package of drawlaws is being developed to decentralize the country. He said that Ukraine fulfills the Minsk Agreeements and the decentralization is in line with the accords despite the fact that the Normandy Four summit confirmed commitment to introduce the Donbass special status permanently.
“Ukrainian leader attempts again to convince us he is committed to the Agreements hoping no one notices anything. His suggestion to substitute constitutional reform set forward by the Minsk Agreements with desentralization of the whole country is a striking example,” Nikonorova said.
She reminded that Art.11 of the Package of Measures implies that the reform should be performed to taking into account Donbass peculiarities. Other parts of Ukrainr have nothing to do with the case.
