DPR Health Ministry reports 191 new COVID-19 cases over 24 hours

Donetsk, Dec 24 – DAN. One hundred and ninety-one new COVID-19 cases have been diagnosed in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Thursday.

“DPR medics carried out 480 tests on December 23; 154 people tested positive and another 37 showed clinical and epidemiological signs of COVID-19,” the report said.

Ninety patients have recovered and 15 have died since Wednesday.

The DPR currently has 14,088 confirmed COVID-19 cases; 4,658 people continue in- or outpatient treatment, 8,159 have convalesced and 1,271 have died, according to the latest reports.

Ukraine has reported 11,490 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours with the number of coronavirus infection contacts exceeding one million; 17,395 people have died in Ukraine due to COVID-19 and related complications since the beginning of the pandemic.*jk
