DPR informs SMM on finalizing demining in Petrovskoye DMZ

Donetsk, Nov 20 – DAN. DPR has informed the OSCE SMM on completing demining in the Petrovskoye disengagement area, the DPR Mission to the JCCC said.

“Today, the DPR informed the SMM, in accordance with the disengagemnt schedule, on completing basic stage of demining operation (within the framework of the disengagement of forces and hardware) and on readiness to begin deinstallation of fortifications and other objects of military value.”

DPR engineers have begun demining in the Petrovskoye-Bogdanovka disengagement area on November 13. JCCC officers and DPR People’s Militia press service members are present at the site.

Petrovskoye is located 40km south of Donetsk. It is one of three pilot desingagement areas.*ot
