DPR police seize grenades, mine, plastic explosive from resident



Donetsk, May 30 – DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic police have seized three grenades, an anti-personnel mine and plastic explosive from a Donetsk resident, the Republic’s Interior Ministry press service reported on Thursday.

“Donetsk Leninskiy district police seized three grenades with fuses, an antipersonnel mine, four electric detonators and plastic explosive from a local resident,” the report said.

The seized ammunition was sent for expert examination. The detainee’s actions are covered by DPR Criminal Code Article 256 (illegal procurement, handover, sale, storing, transportation or carrying of firearms, ammunition or explosives. If found guilty, he might face up to four years in prison and a fine of up to 80,000 rubles.*jk
