DPR preparing major changes to procedure at crossing points with Ukraine – Pushilin

Donetsk, Jan 30 – DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic leadership will change the procedure at the crossing points on the contact line in Donbass to reduce queues, DPR Head Denis Pushilin said at a meeting with Donetsk People’s Republic social movement activists on Thursday.

Earlier, Pushilin called for removing the obstacles what stood in the way of comfortable contact line crossing by DPR residents.

“Together with law-enforcement bodies, we are working on conceptual changes to the procedure at the crossing points with Ukraine,” he said.

The DPR currently operates four crossing points (“Gorlovka”, “Alexandrovka,” “Yelenovka” and “Oktyabr”) on the contact line in Donbass, which link the Republic with Kiev-held areas.*jk
