DPR produces over two million tons of coal since beginning of 2019 – Ministry

Donetsk, Apr 1 – DAN. DPR state-owned coalmines have produced more than two million tons of coal since the beginning of this year, the Republic’s Coal and Energy Ministry press service said on Monday.

“In January through March 2019, the companies run by the DPR Coal and Energy Ministry hoisted 2,076,566 tons of coal to the surface,” press service said.

Over the designated period, the DPR coal-mining enterprises of all forms of ownership produced just over 2.285 million tons of coal. The production target was met at 104.8 percent, with the surplus amounting to 105,546 tons.

Earlier reports said the DPR coal mining enterprises planned to launch 11 new coal faces in 2019. The first three were launched at Torezantratsit company mines.*jk
