DPR Prosecutor General’s Office opens more criminal cases following June shelling



Donetsk, Jun 10 – DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic Prosecutor General’s Office opened criminal cases against senior Ukrainian army commanders complicit in the shelling of the DPR on June 6-9, the PGO press service said.

“Five criminal proceedings were opened against Ukrainian army commanders over strikes delivered at Gorlovka’s Nikitovskiy and Tsentralno-Gorodskoy districts, Novoazovsk and Telmanovo districts, Yasinovataya and Dokuchayevsk on June 6-9, 2019,” the report said.

The suspects were identified as brigade commanders Dmitry Bryzhinskiy, Nikolay Palas, Ivan Garaz and Valery Kurach.

As a result of shelling incidents, two civilians were injured, seven houses, seven outbuildings, seven garages, 13 apartments and a transformer station sustained damage. The attacks also caused power supply disruptions.
