DPR reports 176 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

Donetsk, Jan 15 – DAN. DPR has registered 176 new cases of COVID-19 as the total number of confirmed cases climbed to 17,334, the Ministry of Health said.

Out of 321 tests 176 returned positive on January 14; 33 patients were diagnosed based on symptoms, the Ministry said.

In the past 24 hours, 57 people were discharged from hospitals after testing negative twice; 20 virus-related deaths were reported.

The total of 10,052 patients recovered, while 5,748 are being treated; the total of 1,534 died.

Ukraine reported 8,199 new cases in 24 hours, the total number of cases surpassed 1,4 million, of those 20,542 died. *ot
