DPR sees 50 travellers from Ukraine with confirmed COVID-19

Donetsk, Jul 31 – DAN. Coronavirus infection was confirmed for 50 patients who arrived from Ukrain via humanitarian corridors, the DPR Health Ministry said.

“As of July 31, 50 people who arrived from Ukraine sine June 25 tested positive for COVID-19,” the report reads.

All the infected people have been transferred to specialized medical institutions.

No deaths among travelers from Ukraine have been reported.

Earlier on Friday, DPR has reopened the Elenovka checkpoint at the contact line to let people across the border for the 9th time since June 25.

The DPR suspended the operation of crossing points on the contact line in March to prevent the import of the coronavirus infection. *ot
