DPR sentences Ukrainian spy to 12 years in jail

Donetsk, Apr 8 – DAN. The DPR Appeals Chamber has upheld the 12-year sentence to a spy who worked for the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU).

The investigation revealed that the citizen Sh. was hooked by the Ukrainian Security Service in January 2017 and since then carried out visual observation of the residence of one of the DPR People’s Militia commanders, and took photos of the place.

The suspect passed the data to an SBU member via a mobile app and was remunerated.

The investigators established that the suspect was perfectly aware of the consequences of his actions.*ot
