Donetsk, Jan 16 – DAN. A package of additional ceasefire control measures in Donbass needs legal status; the Donetsk People’s Republic will raise the issue at the peace talks in Minsk on Tuesday, DPR representative to the Contact Group, the Republic’s Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova said.

“For more than two years, the Republic’s representatives have insisted on initialling an official document on additional measures, including at the last meeting in December 2019,” Nikonorova said in a statement received by DAN. “We intend to raise the issue of giving legal status to the package of additional ceasefire control measures by means of its signing by the parties, and we hope that it will happen at last.”
