DPR units ordered to adhere to ceasefire – Basurin

Donetsk, Dec 28 – DAN. The DPR People’s Militia HQ has issued the order to observe ceasefire from December 29, 2018, said DPR People’s Militia deputy chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin.

“We welcome the achieved agreements on ceasefire in effect from 1.01 a.m. December 29 GMT+3 on the eve of New Year and Christmas holidays. DPR People’s Militia has issued an order to observe the ceasefire, it has been communicated to every unit and its members.”

Basurin said that DPR is committed to the peace resolution to the crisis, still it is ready to withstand any escalation coming from the Ukrainian side.

The Contact Group has endorsed the Christmas ceasefire in Donbass in effect from December 29, 2018 1:01 a.m. GMT+3. *ot
