Famous USA conductor is to perform in Donetsk

Donetsk, Jan 15 – DAN. American conductor Winston Dan Vogel is going to visit the DPR for the first time to perform together with the Donetsk Academic Symphonic Orchestra, said the State Philharmonic director Alexander Paretskiy.

“We are actively inviting performers from Russia, Europe, the US, trying to support the ties we already have. We are communicating with Mr. Dan Vogel and he is planning a tour across Germany, than in Paris, than Moscow and Donetsk.”

Vogel is to arrive on January 27 and the concert is scheduled for February 1.

Winston Dan Vogel was born in Israel in 1943 and began his carrier in late 60s. He performed across the globe and was the head of the Virginia Symphonic Orchestra. *ot
