Five more COVID-19 cases diagnosed in DPR over 24 hours, one patient recovers – Ministry



Donetsk, May 7 – DAN.  The Donetsk People’s Republic currently has 147 residents who caught COVID-19, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Thursday.

“Five new COVID-19 cases have been diagnosed in the DPR over the past 24 hours bringing the total to 147 as of 09:00, May 7,” the report said.

At present, 125 COVID-19 patients are receiving inpatient treatment. Four people in the DPR have died of coronavirus infection since COVID-19 outbreak; the number of those recovered reached 18 as one more patient left hospital over 24 hours.

In the previous reporting period, nine people tested positive for novel coronavirus. The DPR has been on high alert against the threat of coronavirus infection since March 14.*jk
