Friday is Kiev’s last opportunity to begin disengagement in Petrovskoye, Zolotoye – Nikonorova

Donetsk, Oct 10 – DAN. The last attempt to resume the disengagement of forces and hardware at the Petrovskoye-Bogdanovka and Zolotoye pilot areas will be made on October 11, Donetsk People’s Republic envoy to the Minsk talks, the Republic’s Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova said on Thursday.

“Tomorrow is the last opportunity to eliminate violations,” Nikonorova said.

“If Ukraine sabotages its obligations despite the schedule plan approved by the Contact Group, it will be assumed that the resumption of the disengagement failed through Kiev’s fault,” she said in a statement received by the Donetsk News Agency.

The minister added that in case the disengagement fails, Ukraine will be responsible for not only another gross violation of the Minsk Agreements, but also for derailing the “Normandy Four” summit.

The second attempt to eliminate violations in the Petrovskoye-Bogdanovka pilot disengagement area failed on Thursday; Ukraine, as on October 9, did not fire the white flare to signal its readiness.  After 12:00 on Thursday, the DPR militia fired three flares to signal its readiness to implement the accords.*jk
