Gorlovka residents send applications to ECHR demanding compensations from Kiev

Donetsk, Jan 15 – DAN. Residents of the frontline Zaitsevo (Gorlovka suburb) have sent applications to the ECHR demanding compensations from Kiev of the total worth of 2 mln rubles, said the Publis Committee on Estimation of the Economic Damage Caused by Ukraine.

“First meeting of the Committee in 2020 took place today in Donetsk. Zaitsevo residents’ applications have been reviewed. They suffered the consequences of Kiev’s aggression and their case files will be forwarded to the ECHR.”

Two residents of Zaitsevo living at Brusilova 30 and Karbysheva 70 streets told that that houses had been damaged during the military action. The total compensation is estimated at 2.1 mln rubles.

The Public Committee was established in Donetsk in late November 2019 by a group of activists. The Committee consists of 19 people. *ot
