House takes direct hit as Ukrainian forces fire at Yelenovka outskirts

Donetsk, Feb 19 – DAN. Ukrainian forces on Wednesday shell Yelenovka settlement southwest of Donetsk with mortars damaging a house, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported.

“The strike was recorded at 16:45. A 82mm mortar was fired at the Signalnoye settlement north of Yelenovka,” the report said. “A direct hit damaged the roof of a house.” No more details were immediately available.

Earlier on Wednesday, Kiev forces shelled northwestern Donetsk firing more than 50 mortar and grenade launcher rounds.*jk
