Industry Moves: John Price Leaving SchemeServe

SchemeServe, a leading cloud based provider of insurance software, has announced the departure of John Price as Chief Operating Officer (COO). John is leaving for personal reasons and to pursue new career challenges within the industry.

SchemeServe is actively recruiting for a new COO as well as a number of additional roles to cater for growth. CEO, Adam Bishop, together with support from the management team, will take up John’s role in the interim.  SchemeServe has also announced the creation of a new Advisory Board including some well known insurance industry figures and a number of its own clients, to offer valuable feedback and collaboratively help to shape the future of SchemeServe.

John Price comments: “I’m leaving the business in great hands.  SchemeServe has gone from strength to strength over the past few years, and now is the right time for me to move on and pursue new challenges.  I’m very proud of what we have achieved at SchemeServe and look forward to seeing the team here capitalise on that success – I’ll be watching with great interest!

SchemeServe has successfully levelled the playing field for brokers in a booming schemes market – making schemes accessible and profitable for minimal investment and fast. The insurance profession has barely begun to scratch the surface of what can be achieved, and I know SchemeServe and its clients will continue to play a leading role in its evolution.”

Adam Bishop, CEO and founder of SchemeServe, comments: “We’ve seen rapid growth at SchemeServe since we launched in 2010 and have continued that growth – a further 20% in the past 18 months alone.  We now operate more than 270 schemes and £240m of gross written premium per annum.  I would personally like to thank John for his hard work and contribution in helping to lead SchemeServe to the exceptionally strong position we find ourselves in today. We wish him well in his future career.

“It has been an exciting time for SchemeServe – never before has the industry seen such demand for technology solutions capable of driving real practical change in the efficacy of insurance.  In the coming months we expect to announce the expansion of our operations to further capitalise on new opportunities in the growing InsurTech space.”
