JCCC: Combine explosion reported in Chermalyk outside Volnovakha

Donetsk, Sep 2 – DAN. The DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported a combine harvester explosion in Chermalyk (Ukraine-controlled) outside Volnovakha.

“At 6.15 a.m. north of Chermalyk, a combine triggered an unidentified explosive device,” the report reads.

Earlier, on August 15 and 30, Ukrainian forces violated Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire in Chermalyk and Naberezhnoye as they launched UAVs there.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
