Kiev army forms mobile groups to provoke DPR retaliatory fire

Donetsk, Jul 31 – DAN. DPR has reported Ukrainian mobile groups tasked with shelling the Republic operating at the Contact line, the DPR People’s Militia said.

“The Ukrainian armed forces command has ordered units in the JFO zone to form and dispatch mobile groups of their reconnaissance units to shell the Republic and provoke retaliatory fire from the DPR defenders.”

One of groups, formed of the 56th brigade scouts, opened grenade launcher fire at the DPR territory on Wednesday, but failed to provoke retaliatory fire.

An indefinite ceasefire came into force in Donbass in the night of July 20-21 as it has been agreed to by the Contact Group in Minsk.

The new ceasefire agreement includes provisions for disciplinary measures against perpetrators, ban on offensive, sabotage and reconnaissance operations, ban on any fire including sniper fire, deployment of heavy weapons to populated areas and, first of all, civilian infrastructural objects such as schools, kindergartens, hospitals and public places. *ot
