Kiev forces open 120mm mortar fire on DPR

Donetsk, Jan 25 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations opened fire on Shakhta Gagarina on Monday afternoon, the DPR Mission to the JCCC said.

The shelling was recorded at 3.30 p.m. from the direction of Leninskoye, controlled by Kiev forces. Eight rounds of 120mm mortar were fired.

An emergency meeting of the security subgroup of the Conract Group is scheduled for 5 p.m. today.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”. The package came into effect on July 27. *ot
