Kiev forces open massive mortar fire on DPR south, 16 rounds fired – JCCC
Donetsk, Dec 18 – DAN. Ukrainian forces launched massive mortar attack on Leninskoye and Dzerzhinskoye on Friday morning, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.
“At 8.40 a.m. Ukrainian armed formations opened fire in the direction of Dzerzhinskoye firing 10 rounds of 120 mm caliber.”
The JCCC said that later, at 8.50 a.m., Ukrainian armed formations fired six 120 mm rounds at Leninskoye.
The fire originated from Ukrainian positions in Lebedinskoye and Vodyanoye, no reports on casualties and damage were filed.
The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
