Kiev forces shell DPR south with mortars and grenade launchers – JCCC

Donetsk, Dec 25 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations opened mortar fire on Novaya Tavria on Christmas morning, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

The fire was reported at 8.45 a.m. from the direction of Ukraine-controlled Vodyanoye, eight rounds of 120 mm caliber were fired.

Another incident was reported at 8.35 a.m., the report said that Kominternovo outskirts came under anti-tank grenade launcher fire, eight rounds were fired.

No casualties have been reported.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
