Kiev says Minsk-2 is non-binding, alleges it “was not adopted” by UN Security Council



Donetsk, Jun 17 – DAN.  The DPR Foreign Ministry has published the minutes of the June 10 and June 15 Contact Group talks.

The documents was released to public “to highlight Ukrainian position concerning the Package of Measures endorsed by the UN Security Council, and their unwillingness o have a dialog on the most acute issues including humanitarian corridors across he checkpoints and negligence towards the results of previous meetings and their own promises”, according to the Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova.

Ukraine considers the Package a non-binding document and a recommendation as I was “approved of, but not adopted” by the UN Security Council.

Moreover, Kiev was to work out a position and come up with suggestions on implementation of the Package of Measures as a basis for peace settlement by June 19, according to the minutes. *ot
