Kiev to send more forces to Donbass to “jam” OSCE drones – Basurin

Donetsk, Apr 22 – DAN. Kiev has trained more radio electronic warfare groups for “jamming” OSCE unmanned aerial vehicles in Donbass, Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Monday.

“Occupation forces commander (Sergey) Nayev decided to continue the practice of “jamming” OSCE UAVs,” Basurin said. “To this end, 502nd Radio Electronic Warfare Separate Battalion assigned more mobile groups to the Mariupol and Donetsk axes.”

Earlier reports said that overnight to April 19, Ukrainian servicemen used radio electronic warfare equipment to “jam” a long-range OSCE drone near the contact line. The loss of control over the drone caused its crash near the Novgorodskoye settlement in the Gorlovka area.*jk
