More than 90,000 children of trade union members to receive New Year presents

Donetsk, Nov 30 – DAN. DPR Trade Union Federation has decided to cancel New Year celebration for children, but they will still receive presents despite the Covid-19 restrictions.

“Due to the challenging epidemiological situation Trade Unions will not organize mass New Year celebrations, but the children of trade unions members should not be left without attention, this year more than 90,000 children will receive New Year presents from trade unions.”

Some of the unions will provide tickets to New Year shows and theater plays to families with children.

All the shows will be organized in line with the pandemic restrictions and requirements.

The DPR Trade Union Federation was established in February 21, 2015 and comprises 22 trade unions with the overall membership of 300,000 people.

On March 14, the DPR went on high alert against COVID-19. Latest reports showed 10,652 COVID-19 cases registered in the Republic, 5,080 patients recovered, 4,566 are being treated. *ot
