Donetsk, Dec 30 – DAN. DPR supporters liberated yesterday as part of the POW exchange have been tortured while imprisoned in Ukraine, said DPR Ombudswoman Daria Morozova.
“I interviewed all the liberated people yesterday, no one escaped unlawful methods of interrogation. I mean, people confirmed they had been tortured,” she said.
The prisoner exchange took place on December 29 at the Gorlovka/Mayorskoye checkpoint. DPR received 61 people in exchange for 51 detainees.
The total of 124 people came back to Donbass, 76 detainees were given to Ukraine.
