Nearly 1,800 residents of Kiev-controlled territories receive medical aid in DPR this year



Donetsk, May 17 – DAN. Nearly 1,800 residents of Kiev-controlled part of Donetsk Region have received medical aid in DPR hospitals under the Donbass people reunification humanitarian program this year, DPR Health Ministry said.

“DPR keeps providing medical assistance within the framework of the Donbass people reunification humanitarian program; 1,799 patients from Kiev-controlled territories received medical aid this year,” the report said.

The majority of patients were admitted following the procedures for multispectral outpatient and inpatient treatment.

On February 17 DPR and LPR Heads approved the humanitarian aid program aimed to assist people living in Kiev-controlled territories. The main objective is to provide financial aid and educational assistance to vulnerable social groups. On February 21 the program was officially presented to people, hotlines and websites associated with the program were launched.*ot
