Donetsk, Mar 23 – DAN. The Contact Group and its working groups will meet through video calls in connection with the COVID-19 threat, the DPR Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
“Due to the tense epidemiological situation and restrictions on travel, the sides and mediators have decided to hold the meeting in the video format,” the statement reads.
Video conferences of political and security subgroups are scheduled for March 24; economical and humanitarian – March 25. The Contact Group is expected to meet through video call on Macrh 26.
DPR has been on high alert since March 14. Border control authorities have introduced 24/7 shifts of experts who monitor travelers for COVID-19 symptoms.
Travelers returning from most affected countries (Ukraine, China, Spain, Italy, Iran, Korea, France and Germany) are required to self-isolate at their homes for 14 days.
No cases of coronavirus have been registered in the DPR. *ot
