No consensus in security subgroup on disengagement areas

Donetsk, Apr 20 – DAN. Ukrainian side has not agreed to any of the DPR propositions concerning the new disengagement areas during the video conference of security subgroup, DPR representative Alexey Nikonorov said.

“We proposed for areas: two from the LPR side and two from our side. But the Ukrainian position testifies to the fact that it is not going to agree to any of the suggested areas  as there were no areas proposed by Ukraine. This fact impedes not only the talks in general, but also the designation of new disengagement areas,” he said.

He said that there was no agreement on other agenda points.

“Ukraine is not going to fulfill the agreements and to observe the ceasefire,” Nikonorov said.
