Reshuffle of Ukrainian delegation has no positive effect on talks – Nikonorova

Donetsk, May 15 – DAN. Ukrainian delegation to the Minsk talks reshuffle has not contributed to resuscitation of the talks, said DPR Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova.

“Despite the massive PR campaign in Ukrainian media promoting the effectiveness of the reshuffle and adding new members of the delegation, there was no upswing.”

In reality, the change of team resulted in hindrances.

“Given that Ukraine refuses to file its propositions in writing, new representatives made us start from scratch, talking over the issues we have long discussed.”

Nikonorova said that Kiev showed no signs of willingness to make progress in coordinating the regulating protocol of the meetings. Moreover, it voiced suggestions at odds with the Minsk Agreements.

“The time was spent on explaining Ukrainian delegation why their propositions were unacceptable,” she said.*ot
