Ukraine sends military shipments, missile artillery to Donbass – DPR intelligence

Donetsk, Sep 6 – DAN. Kiev has deployed multiple launch rocket systems, self-propelled howitzers, tanks and armoured equipment to the Donbass conflict zone, Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Friday.

“We continue to record the weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements which are deployed near the contact line in violation of withdrawal lines,” Basurin said citing intelligence reports.

“We spotted the arrival in Artyomovsk of six MLRS Grad, 122mm and 12 towed howitzers D-20, 152mm; three self-propelled howitzers Gvozdika, 122mm, were deployed to the Katerinovka village outside Donetsk, and carloads of tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and self-propelled artillery arrived in Krasnoarmeisk and villages in the Mariupol area,” he added.

The Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements signed by the Contact Group on February 12, 2015 creates a 50-kilometre security zone for 100mm or larger calibre artillery system and a security zone of 70 km wide for MLRSs. The September addendum commits the parties to withdrawing artillery pieces of calibre less than 100mm, tanks and mortars.*jk
