Ukrainian army fires 80 shells at water duct as repairs ongoing

Donetsk, Apr 12 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations shelled the Yuzhnodonbasskiy water duct outside Yasinovataya in the morning as repair works were underway in the area, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.

“Today at 10.20 a.m. Ukrainian forces opened fire on the repair works area in the Krutaya Balka village north of Yasinovataya despite the fact that earlier the Ukrainian side had provided security guarantees.”

Small arms fire was reported in the area. An hour later, 82 mm shells, grenade launchers and large caliber rounds were fired, the overall amount of ammunition is 80. The repair works have been halted.

The Yuzhnodonbasskiy water duct located outside Yasinovataya provides water to residential areas on both sides of the contact line. It regularly becomes target of the Ukrainian fire. *ot
