Ukrainian army fires mortars at Gorlovka outskirts, two summer houses catch fire

Donetsk, May 14 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations fired mortars at the Zaitsevo settlement in the northern outskirts of Gorlovka and the Panteleimonovka settlement south of the town on Thursday morning, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination said.

“Ukrainian armed formations shelled Zaitsevo and Panteleimonovka from 05:25 to 7:20; overall, 20 120mm mortar rounds were fired,” the report said.

The strikes were delivered from the Ukraine-controlled Zhovanka and Verkhnetoretskoye settlements, the JCCC said.

Gorlovka administration head Ivan Prikhodko said that two summer houses caught fire as Ukrainian forces shelled Zaitsevo. The DPR Office at the JCCC sent a team to the scene to obtain more accurate information on the aftermath of the shelling.*jk
